Since childhood I had this desire to travel and explore new places. Though a lot of my wishes and desires have changed with time but the passion to travel and see the world has just grown stronger with age. That’s the reason I chose these three pictures.
The first one is of me when I was just 7 or 8 years old.
That was my first trip outside Delhi. Our whole family went to Agra. Though I
was too young and hardly remember anything from that trip. One memory that I
very clearly have is of my dad making me feed the monkeys there. He put some
food in my hand and took me closer to the monkeys. I was very scared and
started crying. Maybe because I was really very scared I still have that
memory. I still remember bits n pieces of that trip.
The second picture was taken a year back when I went to
Athens, Greece. It was my first trip abroad. I went with my sister for her
birthday. The culture there is very different from ours. Their language, food,
houses, roads everything was a new experience for me. We went there for a week
and everyday we used to set out to explore the city. I met so many different
types of people there. Some were really surprised that we came all the way from
India. For them India was really far. Some couldn’t even speak English properly
but new about Bollywood and were curious to know if I know how to do Bollywood
dance and some were plain rude and didn’t want to talk at all because I
couldn’t speak Greek.
This picture was taken at The Acropolis in
Athens. It’s the most famous monument there. Its also known as the birthplace
of democracy. The view from the top was breathtaking. You could see the whole
city from the Acropolis.
After my first trip outside India, It’s like my dream to see
the world. I want to live in different countries and see this beautiful earth as
much as possible. Travel
around. Experience different things in life. I am curious to see more and that’s
why I have chosen this as my third picture. Now every year I want to go to a
new country and interact with different kind of people and experience their
lives.

Hey, your pictures tell a story and I like that about them. All of them portray how your love for traveling. Not sure though your current picture is self-portrait.

In that last picture - who's that holding you back?! ;) Besides, is that the world you want to travel to? A world filled with tall skyscrapers covered with neon n led signs?
