Mamta Kalambe

Most of us walk with our eyes closed. We fail to see what life is like in the other person's shoes. We tend to take our freedom for granted. We take for granted, our parents and all the things that they have bestowed upon us. And I am one such person. Reading about the life of people in Gaza, I feel how privileged I am, to having been sheltered and protected  by my loved ones and yet I don't give importance to these things. I can only imagine how difficult life is for the people in Gaza, for every day is like living on the edge of a mountain.

My message to the innocent people in Gaza: I am just a tiny speck on this earth, I can only imagine the pain and grief that you must be going through as you read this. When I was a kid I read that 'A prayer can move mountains' I do not know how true it is but you will be in my prayers. I do not believe in any one God or a religion, but I wish that the eternal power that holds our world together gives you courage to stand these atrocities.  May your children dance, sing and play like before. May your world be filled with smiles once again. I wish peace knocks on your doors once again.
